It’s official! Jimmy Kimmel to return as host for the Oscars® 2018, Academy President Cheryl Boone Isaacs announced today.
This is the second time the late-night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel Live-host-Hollywood’s most famous event of the year Also returning to the show, are nominated veteran Oscar producer: three times for the Oscar, Michael De Luca and Emmy®-nominated producer Jennifer Todd, who produced the Oscars in 2017. “Jimmy, Mike and Jennifer are really an Oscar-Dream-Team. Mike and Jennifer produced a beautiful card that was visually impressive. And Jimmy proved that his opening monologue, all the way through to a finale, we would never have thought that he was one of our best technicians in the Oscar history.”

Kimmel, who previously hosted the Oscars in 2017, to kick off the show with a powerful opening monologue, in which he, his ongoing feud with Matt Damon.
